Very good. I have heard of the Lesser Key of Solomon, and was able to look up a few of the other books you mention, but I was not able to find anything on the Cytherix. Is that a real text, presumably having something to do with Venus, or did you make it up for the story?

Thank you! I made up the Cytherix and a few of the others just for this story. Jannes and Balak were both real Biblical figures associated with dark sorcery, but to my knowledge there aren't any actual texts by those names. And yes, you are correct with the Cytherix being a Venus reference!
